A major success for KÜNDIG at the IWF in Atlanta: The new Regent series was honored with the prestigious “Challengers Distinguished Achievement Award 2026.”

The award recognizes outstanding innovations that advance the woodworking industry through new technologies, processes, and solutions. With the Regent series, KÜNDIG has now been selected as one of this year’s award winners.

The Regent was developed specifically for machining large-format wood components and combines maximum flexibility with highly automated machining. Its innovative machine design enables the efficient machining of large and heavy workpieces at a constant working height—which opens up new possibilities, particularly in modern wood construction.

The presentation of the “Challengers Distinguished Achievement Award” is a special recognition of the development work behind the Regent and confirms KÜNDIG’s commitment to creating forward-looking solutions in surface finishing.
